Nordeste – Full Day

Description:

This is the longest ride of all, however does not have many pre-defined stops. In this tour, we will visit some places that are not usually known by most of the tourists who visit us. They are places of nature in their most primitive state and excellent reasons for photographs. The atmospheric conditions are an important factor in this tour, reason why, alternatives are available to the route Ponta Delgada – Northeast.

1. Lombadas. Nature in its purest state. A place of incredible beauty cut by a small stream.
2. Horse Jumping. A privileged viewpoint over the valley of Furnas and village of Povoação.
3. Ribeira dos Caldeirões. A park with reference to several falls of water and old water mills transformed into ethnographic museums.
4. Vila do Nordeste. A village proud of its gardens and a special reference to the lighthouse of the Arnel, the 1st working in the archipelago, in the year 1876.
5. Viewpoint of Ponta do Sossego. A view of the Atlantic Ocean trimmed by the slopes of the island and integrated into a wonderful garden full of flowers.
6. The return to Ponta Delgada will be made along the North coast.
